Jennifer Page Daily, MD, is a highly accomplished Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville's Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine, where she is the Program Director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. In addition to her role as Program Director, Dr. Daily is the Medical Director for UofL Health Sports Medicine service line, providing expert medical care to athletes of all ages and skill levels. She also serves as the head Team Physician for the University of Louisville Athletics Department, working closely with student-athletes to help them achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
Dr. Daily is a former collegiate athlete herself — competing as a coxswain on the Division I women’s rowing team at the University of Kansas. After graduating from KU and the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Daily completed a residency in family medicine and fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Daily is a highly respected member of the medical community, and her expertise and dedication have been recognized through numerous awards and accolades. These include the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Award, the Humility Professionalism Award, the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians Exemplary Teaching Award, and the Distinguished Service to the University of Louisville Award, which she received in 2022.
Beyond her work at the University of Louisville, Dr. Daily is also involved in a variety of committees and advisory boards, including the University of Louisville School of Medicine Anti-Racism Task Force, the University of Louisville Department of Health and Sport Science Exercise Physiology Advisory Board, and the Kentucky Medical Association Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. Dr. Daily is also a published author, having co-authored the book, Keys to Healthy Communication: Authenticity, Empathy, Empowerment, which was released in February 2022.
