The CSCCa originated to develop and advance the Strength and Conditioning profession by bridging the gap between Exercise Science/research and its practical application in the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning setting. Additionally, the CSCCa is a member of the Coalition for the Registration of Exercise Professions (CREP). Through CREP, the CSCCa works to advance that athletic performance industry through promoting best practices, developing industry standards, and educating policymakers by informing, promoting and/or opposing legislation and policies to serve the best interests of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Student-Athletes they serve.
